Emotional & Spiritual Growth

Chapter 17 was first incorporated in 198, and is the largest VVA Chapter in Nevada. We are based in Las Vegas. Our meetings are generally held on the second Saturday .

Welcome to the official website for Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 17 in Las Vegas, Nevada! The purpose of this site is to present information for local veterans [of all eras] and their families, along with information which can be of use to veterans around the U.S.  We will offer the ability to view our bi-monthly newsletter online, list local and national resources, and list events that our VVA Chapter is involved with.

The links to the right will take you to the various partitions of this site. We will update information when appropriate and add more when we have more.  We intend this site to be easy to use, and full of useful or interesting facts.  Visit the pages in this site to see what help is available in Nevada, what events are upcoming in Las Vegas and around the country, and what the Vietnam Veterans of America are all about

Good Morning -
"These Days (He's Just Trying To Get By) was written by myself and another veteran in honor of ALL of those who have served our country.  It was inspired, in part, by my older brother (who served in Vietnam, and passed away in 2010 from health issues related to the exposure to Agent Orange).
Take a listen, and - if you like it - I'd appreciate it if you would consider placing it on your webpage, sharing it on your membership, etc..
